#0020 – Phyre Phryday V/Blog 05/15/2020 – The Unknown “Black Sheep” Drill

Hello Global Tribe of PhyreKeepers (GTOP)!

05/15/2020 – Our 20th Vlog opens with the video to your right (Now, I’m always uncomfortable sounding like a commercial…) from my TEACHABLE Online Course – “Mastering the Universe of Phryction PhyreKeeping,” under the Section of the (WD) Wheel Drill in Part 2 – Civilized Variations.

Late again. I am REALLY BUSY with my Nursing jobs and haven’t set foot in my Workshop. Therefore, here is another from my archives…

This is from around 2013. It is the “Gauchos Drill of the Pampas of South America.” It was written about by Charles Darwin (of the Theory Of Evolution fame,) in his travels. I call it the “Black Sheep” of the Drill/Axis Methods because it is the exception to a few Variables on Phyre Dojo’s 22 Variables of Phryction PhyreKeeping.

1) You move THROUGH the AXIS VARIABLE. You arm goes THROUGH where usually you are trying to spin a Spindle on/in its Axis.

2) It is UNILATERAL in the BACK & FORTH VARIABLE. Although, it will spin in both directions, you can spin it it ONLY ONE DIRECTION.

3) It does not rely of a lot of SPEED VARIABLE. You can only spin the Gauchos Drill only so fast.

I always give credit where it’s due: I learned this from here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwxJp1mCVnA&t=1815s and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vW29OnU7Klw&t=441s There is only one other person in the World that I know that has pulled this Gauchos Drill off. Mathieu Hebert of Les Primitifs. https://www.lesprimitifs.ca/

At least I know that if I get hit by a bus tomorrow, there’s someone else to demonstrate this to the Global Tribe Of PhyreKeepers….

There is a Universe of many other Methods (Basics) waiting for you to Discover and Explore…

Still VERY busy trying to update my PhyreDojo site and fulfilling Orders while making these VLOGS and Balancing Life in general…
