   03/20/2020 – Our 12th Vlog opens with a 1st PHYREHACK! But, not mine!

In another Life, I used to see about more or less a hundred people from around the World 26 weeks out of the year, who would come to New Jersey and California to learn about having a better relationship with Nature. Other than teaching and training the Lance/Spear, Stone Tools and Primitive Cooking, my favorite skill to transmit was Phryction PhyreKeeping (in case you didn’t guess that…)

was famous for saying: “I can’t believe we get paid to do this…” 

The basic Standard Class introduced folks to the Cedar (BD) Bow Drill and then later in the week, the (HD) Hand Drill and (MD) Mouth Drill. Success rates for (BD) Bow Drill by the last day of the week long course was mostly always 100%. It was a matter of pride for us as Instructors that EVERYONE leave that week having EXPERIENCED their 1st Coal. 

If I miss ANYTHING, I miss being present when someone gives BIRTH to their 1st Coal!

Most of my audience (I think) are folks who have already had this experience. So, when CAMERON contacted me, I COULDN’T HELP MYSELF… Cameron had been trying at home to achieve his 1st Phryction Phyre unguided. His story was inspiring and motivating.

I started creating a page called “DISCOVERY”, which will soon start communicating about how Phyre Dojo is S.T.E.A.M. based. The TAGLINE for that page is:

“There are 2 kinds of Discovery. There’s ‘”Self Discovery”‘ which means it’s already within Humanity’s knowledge and experience

and you’re learning it for the first time. And then, there’s ‘”Discovery For  Humanity”‘,

which means that you have added to Humanity’s knowledge and experience base when it was unknown to all.” 

One of the things Phyre Dojo does is help the “Global Tribe Of PhyreKeepers” have the correct and appropriate, structurally functional S.T.E.A.M. materials to achieve their goals. I sent Cameron a Cedar (BD) Bow Drill Set as an experiment to see if the Set was enough to bring him over the edge to getting his 1st Coal.

I had asked Cameron if he would video his efforts and post them publicly. My reasoning for this is that since Phyre Dojo is S.T.E.A.M. based and that since PROOF and EVIDENCE is EVERYTHING, I thought it important for TRANSPARENCY to see if Phyre Dojo is on the right track in helping (potential) PhyreKeepers or not.
